SUNDAY SELF-CARE TIPS

TIDY ROOM TIDY MIND

Whether you are WFH or commuting on Monday, having a clean and tidy living space is very important when starting the week. After all, a tidy room is a tidy mind! Pick up all the clothes that have accumulated over the week, hoover the floor and wipe down your desk. This makes it a lot easier when the early morning starts and you don’t have to try and get dressed in a pile of clothes. Pre-planning your outfit and organising your bag the night before will reduce stress in the morning and make the experience a lot less hectic. And remember, is a space really tidy until you light a candle in your favourite scent? 

CREATE A VISION BOARD

Having achievable goals in place is one of the most important things when it comes to success. Setting these goals out in picture form gives you something to visualise and work towards, allowing yourself to look at the same goals daily will create motivation and a clear direction on where you are going. This is a great form of self-care as it allows you to have this vision to refer back to if you are ever feeling fatigued or overwhelmed. Creating this at the start of the week will put you in a great position for the upcoming days. Do not hesitate to add and take away ideas from your vision board as you see fit, this is your journey, no one else’s!

GET AHEAD AND PLAN YOUR WEEK

If you’re like us at Gaineasy, we love a planner! We are positive that planning our week in advance maximises our productivity massively. So grab all the coloured highlighters available, write down all fixed-time appointments and meetings, and go from there. Don’t forget to schedule breaks and time for yourself too, that’s just as important! 

A MOMENT TO RELAX

Nothing says self-care like a nice warm bath, accompanied by your favourite bath bomb. There is no better time than now to pick out your top face mask and hair mask to ensure you wake up fresh-faced and glossy-haired, ready to conquer the world one step at a time. 

READ A BOOK

There are many benefits to reading including improvement in focus, memory and communication skills. So this is an important one to add to your self-care routine. If possible, doing this before bed instead of being on your phone will also improve your night's sleep. Us girls here are big fans of the TikTok trending author Colleen Hoover.
